Kenduli is famous as the birthplace of poet Jaydev, the composer of ‘Geet Govindam’. This place is about 1 hour drive through forest from Guskara, 1.5 hour drive from Nanoor and Bikna and 40 minutes drive from Tepantar. A fair is organised in memory of Jaydev on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti in January. The fair celebrates the mystical Baul music and its unique philosophy.
