Tiger Hill is a must-visit place which is located 13 kms away from the town and situated at an altitude of 2590 metres or 8482 ft. This spot has earned international fame for the magnificent view of the sunrise over "Kanchenjunga" and the great Eastern Himalayan Mountains from the observatory. Even Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, is also visible from this place.
