A huge archaeological site can be found, a kilometer away from Baromasya village (Manbazar-I Block). The sculptures collected from this site have been preserved in a house in this village. A number of Jain Tirthankar statues are in this collection, too. Important among them are Parshanath in meditation, Shasan Devi on the elephant, Mahavira, Chandraprava and Amarnath statues.
