Situated on 20 acres of land, Nimdih Gandhi Ashram is located at the foothills of the Dalma range of hills and offers a picturesque and enchanting view of the region. Nimdih offers simple stay arrangements with cottages and rooms, with provision of attached toilet for the cottages & rooms and common clean toilet for dormitories. There are 9 beautiful cottages (twin occupancy) & 3 rooms (4 occupancy) (all with attached bathroom/ toilet) and 6 dormitories (8/10 occupancy) (common bathroom/ toilet) for guests to stay. Guests can relax in the balcony and enjoy the Indian traditional meals while relishing the beauty of the Hills at the horizon.
Many workshops and trainings on the local folk culture are conducted here in the Ashram.
Visitors at Nimdih may enjoy the ruins of Neelkuthi, trek up the Chandil Hills, visit Chandil lake and Kumari Dam and also visit Charida, the village of the Chau mask makers just 25 kms away.
